Being a first time mom, I did not realize how much money I was wasting on disposable breast pads. But this time around, and a lot craftier, I decided to create stylish yet eco- friendly breast pads.
These breast pads are made of:
1 outer layer of minky ( Soft against skin and more absorbent) 2 inner layers of organic bamboo cotton and fleece( Known for it’s naturally antibacterial properties) 1 layer of PUL ( Waterproof barrier that ensures no leakage) 1 outer layer of designer 100% cotton fabric
**These pads are made for average leakage, which is good enough for most , but if you feel that you have a heavy let down, or leak a lot during the night, please inquire about thicker pads.**
Breast pads must be changed frequently or when wet to prevent infection. For best care, wash the breast pads in a delicates bag and dry with low heat. The edges may fray slightly from wash and wear.
